This policy explains what personal data Pirke Solar DOO collects through the website pirkesolar.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it and what rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the Law on Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Serbia.

What data we collect and why

Quote requests

When you send an inquiry, we collect the data you enter in the form: your name or company name, phone, email, the location of the building, the selected package, your message and the electricity bills you attach. An electricity bill also contains the metering point address, the meter number and consumption data.

We use this data only to prepare an offer, calculate the size and payback of the solar plant and get back to you. The legal basis is your consent and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. The page the inquiry was sent from, the IP address and the country are also recorded automatically, to protect the form from abuse (spam).

If you subscribe to the newsletter, your email address is stored with Mailchimp (Intuit Inc., USA) and used only to send Pirke Solar news. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every newsletter.

Visit analytics (Google Analytics)

Only if you accept it in the cookie banner, the website uses Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) so that we can see how many people visit the site, which pages they read and where they come from. Google Analytics sets cookies (_ga, _ga_*) and processes data about your device, browser and approximate location. We do not use it for advertising and do not link it to inquiry data.

Without your consent these cookies are not set. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Strictly necessary data

The server hosting the website logs technical request data (IP address, time, requested page) for security and troubleshooting. The website also remembers your cookie choice in your browser. No consent is required for this.

Who we share data with

We do not sell data or share it with third parties for marketing. Access is limited to the staff who prepare offers and to service providers working for us: website and form server hosting, email, Mailchimp (newsletter) and Google (analytics, with consent). Where needed to connect the solar plant to the grid, we share data, with your approval, with Elektrodistribucija Srbije and the electricity supplier.

Mailchimp and Google may process data outside Serbia (USA, EU), subject to the safeguards required by law (standard contractual clauses).

How long we keep data

Inquiries and attached bills: up to two years after the last contact, unless we sign a contract, in which case they are kept as long as accounting and warranty regulations require.
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe.
Google Analytics: 14 months.
Server technical logs: up to 30 days.

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, as well as to withdraw your consent and object to processing. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before the withdrawal. Send your request to sunce@pirkesolar.com; we reply within 30 days at the latest.

If you believe we process your data unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection of Serbia (www.poverenik.rs).
